Established on June 19, 2018 by the Crowley AACHD Board of Directors, to preserve the contributions, legacy and history of Crowley, LA's African American citizens. 

We continue their legacy of resilience, innovation and upliftment of their communities.  I's the Crowley AACHD’s mission is to preserve, rebuild and develop historical landmarks and structures founded by these brave citizens. We labor in the service of African Americans and all humanity.

VISION

The vision of the Crowley AACHD is to be the premier African American Cultural and Historical District with a strong network of national and international partners whose diverse and inclusive membership will continue Crowley's historical African Americans' legacy.

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Crowley AACHD is to promote, research, preserve, develop, and rebuild Crowley's African American Cultural and Historic District.

The City of Crowley African American Cultural and Historic District (EIN: ##-#####) is a tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) organization. Contributions to Crowley AACHD are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
